Havana, August 17 (RHC)-- Communications researchers and experts from different countries will meet in Havana to discuss current issues and perspectives of digital television.
The Cuban Telecommunications Research and Development Institute and the National Laboratory of Digital TV Engineers (Beijing) will sponsor the Third International Digital Television Forum to take place from September 14-16 at the Melia Habana Hotel.
Participants will discuss the evolution of the standards for the DTMB and DTMB-A modulation and reception system by antennas and cables and on the interactivity, software solutions and technical specifications of digital television receptors, its sensibility and magnetic compatibility.
Those who want to participate can present their master lectures by Friday at the headquarters of LACETEL Telecommunications Research and Development Institute on Avenida Independencia No. 34515, Km 14 ½, Boyeros, La Habana.
The works received will be analyzed by the event’s Scientific Committee and the accepted authors will receive a letter via e-mail. The best works will be published in the TELEMATICA magazine of the Jose A. Echeverria Polytechnic Higher Institute.
