Camaguey, September 21 (RHC)-- Some 200 delegates from four continents are participating at the 26th International Congress on Orthopedics, underway since today in the eastern Cuban city of Camaguey, some 570 kilometers from the capital Havana.
Main subjects related to orthopedic treatment applied to different parts of the body will be at the center of discussions by specialists from Spain, Mexico, Japan, Argentina, Angola, Italy, Panama, France, China, South Korea and Cuba.
The agenda also considers orthopedic lesions on high-performance athletes and the advances of external bone fixation.
The event, running until September 26th, includes workshops and courses on specific areas of the scientific discipline and bilateral forums between Cuba and Mexico and Cuba and Argentina.
