Caracas, October 2 (RHC)-- Venezuelan and Cuban activists discussed the state of bilateral relations during the Seventh National Meeting of the Movement of Mutual Friendship and Solidarity, inaugurated on Thursday, in the Bolivarian state of Vargas.
The coordinator of the movement, Yhonny García, expressed his appreciation for Cuba's work in social programs aimed at improving the quality of life Venezuelans in areas such as health, education, sports and culture.
For his part, the governor of this department of the South American country, Jorge Garcia, pointed to the affection of his people for the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and Cuban doctors and teachers who provide supportive services in inaccessible places in Venezuela.
