San Juan, October 10 (PL-RHC)-- The political thinking of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, is being discussed at a seminar in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Saturday.

On the occasion of the 147th anniversary of the Cry of Yara, which marked the beginning of Cuba's pro-independence process from Spain -- on October 10, 1868 –- the event is being attended by Puerto Rican historians, intellectuals and political analysts.

The seminar "Fidel Castro's Political Thinking" is taking place at the Center of Advanced Studies of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean (Ceaprc), in Old San Juan, in coordination with the National Hostosian Pro-Independence Movement (MINH), the Puerto Rican Association of Historians and the Association of History Students.
