Miami, December 7 (RHC)-- The Miami-based Alianza Martiana Coalition, an active group of Cuban-American organizations, has called a demonstration for next Saturday, December 12th, to demand the immediate lifting of the over-50-year U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.
The action, which will take place two day after the world marks International Human Rights Day, will consist of a car caravan that finds its precedent in similar activities carried out by the coalition in previous years in support of the Cuban cause.
The announcement of the action notes that amid the current process to normalize relations between the two nations and governments, it is unacceptable that President Barack Obama maintains this genocidal policy that hurts Cuban families, particularly children.
