Havana, February 12 (RHC)-- Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, His Holiness Kirill said in Havana that the Russian and Cuban peoples have long been united by cooperation and friendship.
The leader of the Russian Orthodox Church arrived in Havana Thursday for a pastoral visit at the invitation of President Raúl Castro.
Upon arriving at Havana's José Martí International Airport, where he was welcome by the Cuban head of state and Parliament President Esteban Lazo, Patriarch Kirill recalled that this is his fourth visit to the Cuba, having visited the island on three previous occasions while fulfilling other religious responsibilities.
