New York, Mar 18 (RHC) Wharton Business School convened in Nasdaq Stock Exchange the second Summit of Opportunities in Cuba, to brief the US business circles about the opportunities at the Island country.
Around 250 investors, company presidents and academicians participated in panels, debates and addresses by executives.
Faquiry Diaz, president of Tres Mares investment company, and one of the sponsors, said this meeting is part of Wharton's efforts to promote information and knowledge on the opportunities and risks of doing business in Cuba.
Diaz said the first such meetings was held on December 17, 2014, when Presidents Raul Castro and Barack Obama announced to the world the decision to advance towards normalizing US-Cuba relations.
