Havana, May 25 (RHC/Cubasi)—Cuba’s Ambassador to the United States, José Ramón Cabañas, will be fielding questions tomorrow, Thursday, on social networks on relations between the U.S. and Cuba.
Ambassador Cabañas will take questions via Twitter from 11 to 11:30 am, (Eastern Time) on his official account @JoseRCabanas.
Cuba and the United States have been holding rounds of bilateral talks on various issues since December 17, 2014, when the two countries re-established diplomatic relations and started seeking to attain normalization of their links.
Cuba has emphasized that for such to take place, issues like an end to the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade, return of the territory illegally occupied at Guantanamo, and the elimination of U.S.-funded subversion must be resolved.
