Havana, June 17 (RHC)-- Vice President of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) Elio Games said that Cuba will continue to support the independence cause of the Puerto Rican people at international forums.
In statements to the press Thursday, on occasion of the 50th anniversary of the opening in Havana of the diplomatic mission of Puerto Rico, Games renewed Cuba's call for the release of Puerto Rican independence fighter Oscar López, who has already served 35 years of unjust imprisonment in the U.S.
