Belgrade, June 29 (RHC)-- Cuba and Serbia have confirmed their determination to further expand bilateral economic and scientific ties.
Cuban Parliament President Esteban Lazo met Tuesday in Belgrade with his Serbian counterpart Maja Goikovic. During the exchange, the two sides also agreed to expand ties between both countries' legislative bodies, as well as increase contacts between their diplomatic missions abroad.
The Serbian legislator expressed her country's interest in further expanding cooperation relations with Cuba in areas such as the pharmaceutical industry and agriculture, as well as increasing Serbia's participation in joint projects at Cuba's Mariel Special Development Zone.
