As if the genocide committed against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip were not enough, the Zionist State of Israel committed a new infamy this week, this time in Lebanon, where communication devices belonging to members of the Hezbollah group exploded.

As a result of this unprecedented attack, there are more than 30 dead and thousands wounded, as the devices were detonated in different places, such as markets, shops, streets and homes, and it is confirmed that among the dead there are at least two children.

The action is attributed by various sources, including in the United States, to the Israeli special services, the Mossad, but logically many actors must have been involved, including some of those who sold, packed and delivered the beepers and radios in Lebanon.

As usual in such cases, Washington hastened to deny its involvement, which is hard to believe given the close ties between the North American power and Israel, which naturally include close intelligence, logistic, military and economic cooperation.

The US State Department spokesman, Matthew Miller, was in charge of appearing before the press, almost at the same time as the New York Times published an article with details of the operation, allegedly obtained in record time, something curious.

But Miller went a little further and uttered one of those phrases that perfectly characterize the hypocritical foreign policy of the United States.

He noted that his government regretted that this new incident made it more difficult to achieve a cease-fire in the Middle East and at the same time, mind you, said that Hezbollah members "are legitimate targets for countries to launch operations against. "This guy is a spokesman for the equivalent of a foreign ministry in the world's largest military and economic power, so he must be very well informed and knows that the casualties in Lebanon include wounded children and civilians and two minors who were killed.

Are these people "legitimate targets" to be attacked, like the more than 20,000 children and women massacred in Gaza?

There is no doubt that Israel has crossed the line between decency and infamy, and it is clearly not alone in this journey.

The coming days will tell us who else joins it and who else remains in the human sector.
