Havana, November 14 (RHC) - Representatives from Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Cuba are gathering in Havana from November 11-16 at a new edition of Art and Fashion. Textile design, decoration, architecture, fashion shows, music, photography and other activities can be enjoyed during the event’s intense days.
The gathering began with the exhibition Visual Global by artists Eduardo Rodrígez, Eric Steinhilber, Julia Poteat, Tania Castro and Grupo Carenas. The Cuban Art headquarters of the National Fine Arts Museum is the event’s main venue that also includes workshops, lectures and performances. Special actions, such as the fashion show Íconos de Rebeldia stand out, where Cuban designers and international guests are exhibiting textile creations inspired by contemporary art works.
Not to be missed will also be the exhibition of unique wedding pieces by German designer Kaska Hass, who will also delight the audience with a unique show with Belgian Janna Beck, pianist Esequiel Villa Vila and the Visual Axis Laboratory.
