Havana, July 2 (RHC)-- Cuban musician Erick Iglesias, better known as Cimafunk, is promoting on digital platforms an upcoming European tour with his band that will take him to 10 cities in Spain, France and Italy.

The tour includes performances in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Barcelona. In Barcelona, Cimafunk will share onstage with Omara Portuondo –the Diva of Buena Vista Social Club, as they will both participate in the Grec Festival, which focuses this time of Afro-Cuban creators and their influence on Barcelona culture and traditions.

Likewise, the author of hits like ‘Me voy pa mi casa’ will take his unique musical style, which mixes African and Cuban rhythms to several French cities, notably Clermont-Ferrand, Vienne, Stains, El Havre, Blois and Sète, until July 31st.

Cimafunk’s European tour will also take him to the Italian city of Perugia, where he will perform at the Umbria Jazz Competition 2021, whose program includes a Cuba night and features such renowned musicians as pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba and singer Aimé Nuviola.

Cimafunk is currently promoting his latest EP entitled Cun Cun Prá (2020), which includes tracks like ‘La Papa,’ which he sings as a duet with also renowned singer Diana Fuentes.
