Vampires in Havana
Havana, July 4 (RHC)-- The novel ¡Vampiros en La Habana! (Vampires in Havana), based on the 1985 animation film by Cuban filmmaker and cartoonist, the late Juan Padrón, was released this July 4th in Spain by Atrapasueños publishing house.
The 396-page book includes nearly 50 color illustrations. The Cuban edition, released in 2006, included only black and white illustrations.
Atrapasueños publishing house said they worked on this Project over a 3 year-period with Juan Padrón’s daughter –Silvia.
¡Vampiros en La Habana! was released in Spain in the framework of the Cuban culture section of the 35th edition of Alfaz del Pi Film Festival.
