Havana, July 20 (RHC) – London, the British capital is hosting this weekend  this year’s 10th meeting of the Diamond League where Cuban pole jumper Yarisley Silva, ended in fourth place with 4.65 place.

Meanwhile, long jumper Juan Miguel Echevarria  did not show up at the Olympic stadium in London to compete.

So far the causes of the absence of the promising Caribbean athlete, who until this Saturday was leading the classification of the contest, with 23 points and two first places are unknown.

In London there was great expectation to see Echevarría, who was the indoor campion last year in the English city of Birmingham, compete against South African Luvo Manyonga, who has a  record of 8.35 meters this year.  Mangoya ended up first in the competition.
