Bayern Munich keeps winning pace in German soccer league
Havana, December 18 (RHC)-- Bayern Munich kept up its winning pace in the German soccer league by beating Wolfsburg 4-0, with goals from Tomas Müller, Leroy Sané, Dayot Upamecano and Robert Lewandowski.
The home side took advantage of a visiting team that was in a downward spiral to record their seventh win in a row in all competitions, fifth in the Bundesliga, taking their tally to 43 points.
The team led by young coach Julian Naggelsmann now have a comfortable 11-point lead over Borussia Dortmund, their closest pursuers.
For Wolfsburg, it was their ninth defeat of the championship, the fifth in a row, and they remain in twelfth place with only 20 points, the result of six successes and two draws.
