Adriá Pedrosa gave the Barcelona club the lead after just three minutes, but Brazilian Yuri de Souza equalized from the penalty spot for the León side (min. 88). In extra time, the scoreboard remained unchanged, and from the penalty kick came the decision.

In the penalty shootout, Ponferradina missed three of their four kicks, to say goodbye to the tournament without being able to take their fifth and final kick.

Today, this event continues with the presence of two of its main protagonists: Barcelona will face Linares and Real Madrid will face CD Alcoyano, a modest team that eliminated them in the round of 32 in the last edition of the competition.
