Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted PSG's superiority in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, but showed confidence in a comeback at home from a 0-1 deficit.

Paris, February 16 (RHC/PL)-- Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted PSG's superiority in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, but showed confidence in a comeback at home from a 0-1 deficit.

"PSG were much better than us and we will have to show another side in the second leg, on March 9 in Madrid," the 62-year-old coach told reporters shortly after the eagerly-anticipated clash at the Parc des Princes in this capital, where the scoreline did not reflect the overwhelming home dominance.

According to Ancelotti, the rival has a small advantage, which he hopes will not be enough to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

A brilliant goal by star Kylian Mbappé in stoppage time gave PSG the victory in front of their home fans, in a match in which Brazilian Neymar made his comeback after more than two months on the sidelines and Argentine star Lionel Messi missed a penalty.

Mbappé was happy for the win and the goal - his fifth in the Champions League - but recalled that the match at the Santiago Bernabeu is still to come.

"I said I was going to give everything and I had to show it with actions. I did it for the first time tonight and I will have to do it for the second time at the Bernabeu," Mbappe told a TV channel.
