Havana, August 8 (RHC)-- Cuban Pedro Pablo Revilla hit a single in three trips to bat and towed the run that made the difference in Sunday's 5x0 win of the Chunichi Dragons over the DeNA All-Stars at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya.

The West Indian outfielder, who has totaled at least one hit in five of his six games so far in the 2022 Japanese Professional Baseball League, lowered his average to .350, but raised his pushes total to three.

His teammate Dayán Viciedo went 3-1 with a single, strikeout and a walk to raise his offensive average to .284. Another Cuban, Yariel Rodríguez, also from Cuba, allowed a hit without a run in one inning of relief to improve his effectiveness to 1.95.

In another game of the day, Alfredo Despaigne singled in three chances, struck out twice and got a walk in the SoftBank Falcons' 2x7 loss to the Rakuten Eagles at the Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka. His average rose to .248.

The Dragons remain in last place in the NPB Central League and the Falcons in second place in the Pacific League, three games behind the leaders Seibu Lions.
