Havana, August13 (RHC)-- Workers of INDER evoked the imprint of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, in the sphere of sports.

On the 96th anniversary of the birth of Cuba's most important political figure of the 20th century, the sports family issued messages of recognition and gratitude for his immense work in this sector.

The special morning was presided over by Osvaldo Vento Montiller, head of INDER, together with other directors of the institution and of political and mass organizations.

The occasion was propitious to enjoy poems, songs and audiovisuals that gathered passages and exalting visions of Fidel, who, shortly after leading the revolutionary triumph of 1959, promised that we would take sports as far as possible, and that its practice would be a right of all the people.

During the activity, held in the Assembly Hall of the Coliseum of the Sports City, several Party nuclei of INDER received awards.
