The also nicknamed Morena de Oro has won all the golden titles since 2015 and up to the present, with the exception of the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, where she came second.

In her list of honors, there are the gold medals achieved in the South American Athletics Championship (Peru 2015) in long jump and triple jump; and in the world championships of Portland (2016), United States; London (2017) and Birmingham (2018), United Kingdom, and Doha (2019), in Qatar.

She will also participate in the Pan American Games (2019) in Lima, Peru, and the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, where she set an Olympic and world record with a jump of 15.67 meters.

In 2020 she was selected athlete of the year by the International Association of Athletics Federations and the following year she received the Ibero-American Community Trophy from the King and Queen of Spain.
