Berlin, Sep 1 (PL) Bayern Munich defeated Freiburg today, two goals to zero, in the last match of the second date in the German Football League.
From the penalty spot, Englishman Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 38th minute and Thomas Muller closed it in the 78th minute.
With the victory, the Bavarians joined the trio at the top of the Bundesliga, all with perfect performances after the first two matches.
In the other Sunday match, newly-promoted Heidenheim, the other top team alongside RB Leipzig, thrashed Augsburg 4-0.
Paul Wanner (9, penalty), Brazilian Leo Scienza (30), Adrian Beck (69) and Maximilian Breunig (72) scored for the winners.
