Jamal Musiala
Berlin, Dec 18 (PL) German soccer player Jamal Musiala explained today that his renewal with Bayern Munich is deadlocked and stressed his childhood idolatry for Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona.
Speaking to German daily Bild, the 21-year-old winger regretted not being able to “give the (Bayern) fans a Christmas present. There will be no news shortly” regarding a contract renewal.
"All the parameters influencing this big decision have to be right for me,” emphasized the Mannschaft international.
Musiala, considered by experts to be the world's top-five player in his position, has a contract with Bayern that expires in June 2026, so the Bavarian club will have to renew his contract as soon as possible to avoid an abrupt departure with no return.
During the interview with Bild, Musiala took the opportunity to send a loud and clear message about his possible destination if he does not extend his contract with Bayern Munich.
"When I was a kid, I had several jerseys, and I always wore Messi's shirt. I had one of Neymar, but Messi was my hero, my favorite player. My favorite team was Barcelona,” he said.
Certainly, Musiala's decision is among the hottest stories of the upcoming transfer markets.
