Havana, Apr 15 (JIT) - Cuban pitchers Raidel Martínez and Liván Moinelo, both from Pinar del Río, had fruitful performances today with their respective teams in the Japanese Professional Baseball League 2025.

Martínez got his fifth save of the season, after not allowing any hits or runs in an inning of relief as part of the 1x0 victory of the Yomiuri Giants over the DeNA All-Stars.

At the Tokyo Dome, and for the Central League, the lanky right-hander kept his effectiveness at 0.00 pcl, as in seven games in which he has worked, he exhibited 6.2 innings with just one hit allowed, without allowing any runs.

And at the Mizuho Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka, the left-hander Moinelo left without a decision after conceding one run and three hits in seven complete innings. It happened in the SoftBank Falcons' 1x2 loss to the Rakuten Eagles in 10 episodes.

In a Pacific League duel, Moinelo struck out 12 opponents and gave just one walk in the game, kept his record of the campaign at two wins without defeat and improved his effectiveness to 0.95.
