Bogota, January 25 (RHC) -- Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, who is seeking re-election, is leading the presidential race ahead of the country's May 25th election, according to the latest poll.
Santos was supported by 26 percent of the voters, followed by Enrique Penalosa with nine percent, and Oscar Ivan Zuluaga with eight percent, polling firm Cifras & Conceptos said when releasing the survey results on Friday.
It also found that 39 percent of the respondents see the peace process, initiated by the Santos administration with the rebel Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), as the best way to end the five-decade-long armed conflict.
