Tel Aviv, March 2 (RHC)-- Israel’s attorney general said he will indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
Netanyahu is accused of trading political favors for positive press coverage and, separately, for hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of luxury goods—including jewelry, cigars and Champagne.
According to reports from the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv, the charges come just weeks before an April 9th election that will see Netanyahu try to hold together his fragile ruling coalition.
