Caracas, May 21 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro activated this Friday the 1×10 System of Good Governance with the purpose of strengthening public management and "further empowering the People's Power."

According to the Bolivarian leader, the tools and strategies of the technological platform of the 1×10 Government method, to provide solutions to the population, are fully structured.

"Now we are going for more.  Now it is up to all of us and what is coming now is bigger, but to achieve it we need new working methods (...) We have been meticulously preparing the 1x10 of Good Governance, the Map of Solutions and the Concrete Action Agenda of the People's Power," he said.

The president also announced six strategic lines of action, which include "advancing and consolidating the integral economic recovery of the country, strengthening the productive engines and achieving the stability of the fundamental economic markers".

In addition, to guarantee the plans for the rewarding human development and social protection of the people; to ensure the right to the environment, the city and public services; and to promote the participation of the Popular Power to guarantee good governance.

Likewise, to defend national sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace and strengthen the role of Venezuela in the new world geopolitics; and to consolidate a new system of justice, citizen security and the Peace Quadrants.

On the other hand, he indicated that there are three issues prioritized for the beginning of the new Government stage: water, education and public health. "I am launching three priorities of action for the next 60 days and I call on the Government to assume them", he said.

Previously, the Head of State highlighted that Venezuelans have faced "intense battles in civic-military union, and we are still standing and victorious, we will move forward with the new way of governing of 1x10".

For her part, the Executive Vice-President, Delcy Rodríguez, specified that the 1x10 is a method through which, via Internet, there will be a direct interaction between the Government and the people, to attend to the different problems they may have.

The occasion was propitious for the president to denounce the destabilization attempts that the Government and the people have faced during the last four years, highlighting the resistance shown by Venezuelans.   

The President recalled the plans that have been made to overthrow his Government, as well as to deprive the Venezuelan people of a prosperous economy, situations that have been counteracted with measures such as the strengthening of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), "basing our forces on the people's power."

Other facts recalled by the Venezuelan president was the action of the frustrated assassination of August 4, 2018, reiterating that it was a plan directed from Colombia and the United States (US); as well as the attempted invasion of February 23, 2019, and electrical attacks, facts that were defeated.

On the other hand, he added that on April 30 of that year "a handful of uniformed traitors headed by Leopoldo López said they had taken over the military base of La Carlota", in Caracas (capital); while in 2020, former U.S. president Donald Trump, applied new measures to economically asphyxiate Venezuela, affecting the access to components to obtain diesel and gasoline, and that he could import them.
