Lima, September 18 (RHC)-- In Lima, the Peruvian capital, according to figures from the pollster CIT Opinión & Mercado, 82 percent of Peruvians reject the management of Dina Boluarte as president of Peru.

Everything seems to indicate that Peruvians reject the lack of leadership that Boluarte has to face the nation's problems.  Likewise, they are dissatisfied with the actions of the president to face the economic and social crisis facing the country.

Such rejection is reflected in the streets, where several popular uprisings against the president have been registered.    Boluarte is even being investigated by the Attorney General's Office for genocide, homicide and serious injuries for cases of repression registered during the past months of December and January.

Former minister Juan Sheput said to local media, after knowing the results of the poll that "the president is showing an absolute lack of leadership to be able to face such a serious issue as the economic crisis, which is the most serious thing that is happening."  "She has been unable to summon a group of personalities in key ministries such as the Economy or the ministries linked to production to be able to face the economic crisis from the government", commented Juan Sheput.

In addition to the rejection of the president, the survey revealed that the level of disapproval against the president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, also increased reaching 76 percent of the population, likewise the Congress of the Republic is rejected by 86 percent of the population.

"Any sensible person realizes that this Congress has long ago destroyed any kind of moral limit or public shame, they act with impudence," analyzed former Minister Juan Sheput, highlighting that similar figures had never been seen before.

Sheput said that Congress has always had approval levels above 15% of the population, the lowest levels in all Peruvian history.
