Beirut, June 20 (RHC)-- Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah has launched a fresh barrage of more than a dozen projectiles into the northern occupied territories in retaliation for Israel’s attacks in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said its fighters targeted the regime’s barracks with "dozens of Katyusha rockets and artillery rounds" on Wednesday.  The attack was carried out in retaliation for the “Israeli enemy attacks” on the southern Lebanese towns of Yaroun and Khiam, Hezbollah said.

Israel’s military admitted that the area came under attack by Hezbollah fighters, saying in a statement that “approximately 15 projectiles were identified from Lebanon toward the area of Kiryat Shmona.”

Israel threatened Lebanon with an “all-out war” on Tuesday with the military saying “operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon were approved and validated.”  Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned the regime on Wednesday that "no place" in the occupied territories would be spared in case of a full-blown war.

Israel must expect "us on land, by sea and by air," Nasrallah said in a televised address.

Hezbollah has fought off two Israeli wars against Lebanon in 2000 and 2006.  The resistance forced the regime to retreat in both conflicts.
