Caracas, August 30 (RHC)-- The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Treaty on Trade of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemns the sabotage of the national electricity system and communications in the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on this Friday, the 30th of August.

In a statement, ALBA-TCP called the action "a direct attack on the people," orchestrated by fascist sectors that do not recognize or respect the will of the Venezuelan people.

The Bolivarian Alliance supports all actions of the Venezuelan government to restore normality, identify those responsible and restore peace to the country.

The statement, presented by the Secretary General of the Bolivarian Alliance, Jorge Arreaza, strongly repudiates "the direct and flagrant violation of the human rights of the Venezuelan people."
