Mexico City, November 14 (RHC-PL) -- Relatives of the 43 missing students left today on a caravan tour of several parts of Mexico to spread information and seek public support to demand a speedier investigation.

The first group headed to Chihuahua, and their tour will make stops in Michoacan, Jalisco and Zacatecas. They will contact organizations and enlist help in publicizing their plight and exerting pressure on Mexican authorities.

Felipe de la Cruz, representative of the parents, said the second brigade will visit the southern states of Morelos, Tlaxcala, Oaxaca and Chiapas. Another group will leave tomorrow, Saturday, for several communities of Guerrero.

The caravan hopes to inform the public about the circumstances leading to the disappearance of the 43 students in late September and the links between the authorities and organized crime.
