BOGOTA, March 26 (RHC-Xinhua) -- The Colombian navy on Thursday seized 650 kilos of cocaine inside a speedboat en route to North America in the waters near the town of Tumaco, in the southwestern Narino department.
The seized drugs, composed by 16 sealed black packages, weighed 650 kilos and had a street value of 17.5 million U.S. dollars, officials said.
An investigation was underway to identify the organization behind the drug trafficking.
