London, June 6 (teleSUR-RHC)-- Thousands turned out for a London rally in support of Venezuela and called on the United States to end the sanctions and interventions on the country. The keynote speaker was Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn, who has tossed his hat in the ring to be the next Labour leader.
Corbyn said that what Latin America needs now is “solidarity... not dependence on the USA.”
But he also asks: “Is it that different from (how the USA acted toward) the government of Salvador Allende in Chile?”
