Havana, January 15 (RHC)-- Cuba’s First Vice President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, on Tuesday sent a recognition to the work staff of the provincial newspaper Escambray, on occasion of the 35th anniversary of its founding.
During an exchange with Escambray’s staff, Deyvi Pérez Martín, a member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba in Sancti Spiritus, highlighted the hard work and central role of the publication in the advancement of economic and social reforms in the province.
To mark the its three and a half decades of work, the paper has developed a wide program of activities, including professional development projects, presentations on a comprehensive editorial redesign and a poetry contest.
