Havana, April 9 (RHC-ACN)-- The Cuban delegation that will participate in the 3rd Business Forum in Peru on April 12 and 13, will describe the country's main exports, as well as investment opportunities, particularly in the Special Development Zone at Mariel (ZEDM).
The business forum is in the context of the Summit of the Americas, in which Cuba will participate for the second consecutive time with a large delegation.
The Cuban delegation attending the business forum in Peru is headed by Orlando Hernández Guillén, president of the country's Chamber of Commerce. In statements to Cuban press, he said the delegation is made up of executives of key sectors of the Cuban economy. He mentioned, for instance, medical services provision and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
Meanwhile, executives with the Special Development Zone at Mariel will present the country's portfolio of foreign investment to boost priority sectors such as the industry, energy, tourism and telecommunications.
