Ottawa, October 2 (RHC)—Cuba´s Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero Cruz, is visiting Canada this week.

According to Cubadebate website, Marrero will follow an intense program in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto that includes a meeting with his Canadian counterpart, Mrs. Mélanie Joly.

In addition, he will hold talks with directors of Quebec´s institute of Tourism and Hospitality, (ITHQ) with tour operators working the Cuban market such as Transat, Sunwing and Hola Sun, as well as with Air Canada.

Canada is the leading source of tourists to Cuba, with more than one million visitors each year, so this will be an opportunity to reaffirm the existing ties in this sector between both countries.
