Havana, February 25 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, exercised his right to vote Sunday morning at a polling station in Playa Municipality to endorse the new Constitution of the Republic.
After casting his ballot, Raúl Castro exchanged with the pioneers who guarded the ballot box and with the staff of the polling station.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel also castr his vote early on Sunday and expressed his confidence that the majority of Cubans will ratify the text of the new Constitution.
