Havana, April 6 (RHC)-- A group of 51 Cuban citizens deported from Mexico arrived at Terminal 5 of the José Martí International Airport in the Cuban capital, in compliance with the migration agreements between Havana and Mexico City.
Many of the people deported back to Cuba from Mexico were those who left the island legally to other Central American countries, but then went to Mexico in an attempt to enter the United States.
Cuba reiterates its concern of the risks of irregular migration, including harassment, violence or even the loss of life, which may occur on the way to Mexico, at the hands of criminal groups linked to human trafficking or other illegal activities.
