Havana, September 30 (RHC)—Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel met Monday in Havana with his Majesty Mswati III, King of Eswatini, who is on an official visit to the island.
During the meeting, both parties ratified the good status of bilateral relations, based on ties of friendship and collaboration, and also expressed their will to strengthen cooperation for mutual benefit. They also exchanged opinions on topics of international interest.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were Thulisile Dladla, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Moises Vilakati, Minister of Tourism and Environment; Lizzie Nkosi, Minister of Health; and Melusi Masaku, Ambassador-designate to Cuba.
Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz and José Ángel Portal Miranda, Ministers of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment and Public Health, respectively; Marcelino Medina González, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Rodolfo Benítez Verson, concurrent ambassador to the Kingdom of Esuatini, were present during the encounter that was held at the Palace of the Revolution in the Cuban capital.
