Holguin, November 11 (RHC)-- Some 500 travelers from Moscow are arriving Monday at Frank País International Airport, Holguín, in inaugural flight to that destination of the airline Royal Flight.
The route shows the growing interest in Cuba in the Eurasian market.
Radio Reloj informed that, with the opening of the high season of tourism in the archipelago, the new route will double the presence of Russian travelers in northeastern Cuba, after previous operations of the airline Nordwind and the tour operator Coral Travel.
From last year until last August, Holguín received in its beach hotels and other facilities more than 20,000 Russian tourists, with a tendency to increase steadily in the coming months.
