Havana, November 14 (RHC)-- Representatives and delegations from various countries will participate in the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of Havana.
Some of them are already in Cuba, such as Alvin Botes, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Marcelino Medina, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, told the press.
Nikola Nikodijevic, president of the Assembly of Belgrade, capital of Serbia, and a delegation from the Russia-Cuba Friendship Society are also in Havana
The CubaSí website announced that members of the Miami-based Alianza Martiana Coalition will travel to the Cuban capital to participate in the celebrations of its half-millennium.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Historian of Havana, and Ministry of Culture entities have announced that five stages are being sept up alongside the Malecon seafront promenade to host shows on Friday and Saturday with some of the most acclaimed singers, dance bands and music ensembles covering all the spectrum of the island´s musical heritage.
