Havana, February 22 (RHC)-- Cuba reported on Monday 838 new COVID-19 infections and t4 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The National Chief of Epidemiology, Dr. Francisco Duran said that 18, 960 tests were carried out to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the cause of the pandemic.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 45 361 people have been infected with Covid-19 and 300 have died.
Havana reported 412 cases on Sunday. Santiago de Cuba followed with 87, and Mayabeque with 72.
