Beachmont, April 17 (RHC)—The Leader of the Unity Labor Party of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, sent a congratulatory message to the 1st Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party, Raul Castro Ruz.

In the letter posted on Twitter, Prime Minister Gonsalves sent solidarity greetings to the leadership and members of the Cuban Communist Party and the heroic people of Cuba on the occasion of the Eighth Congress.

The text adds that the great party is the noble inheritor and continuator of the communist, socialist and revolutionary democratic movements in Cuba and has provided exemplary leadership of the Cuban revolution.

“We in the Labor Party salute Raul and all the comrades in the Cuban Communist Party for your extraordinary work in advancing and deepening regional integration and solidarity in accordance with the precepts and practices of Fidel, whom we miss dearly," the letter concluded.
