Havana, Jul 27 (RHC)-- The Cuban Foreign Ministry denounced Tuesday the harassment its embassy to the United States is suffering these days. It was also the target of a terrorist attack last year.

On Twitter, the Foreign Ministry alluded to the posters placed on the perimeter of its diplomatic mission in Washington DC, many of which contain hate messages.

The tweet also recalled that the Cuban mission in U.S. territory was the victim in April 2020 of an attack. The U.S. government did not issue any statement of condemnation.

The Foreign Ministry added that other diplomatic headquarters have also been under assault, as is the case of the Cuban Embassy in Panama, in front of which a group of people who shouted offenses against the Cuban Revolution and seemed to have violent intentions gathered.

On Monday, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez announced an attack with Molotov cocktails on the Cuban mission in France, for which he blamed the U.S. Government.

Rodriguez categorized the attack as a terrorist act and said that Washington encourages such behaviors with its ongoing campaigns against the Caribbean nation.

He added that the continuous calls for violence from the U.S. country, with complete impunity, are a stimulus for such acts to take place.

Meanwhile, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel commented on his Twitter account: 'The so-called peaceful demonstrators against the Cuban Revolution have reached Paris with the encouragement of the anti-Cuban campaigns generated in Washington. Is terrorism against Cuban embassies coming back?'.
