Havana, October 5 (RHC)--Members of the Henry Reeve medical brigade that collaborated against Covid-19 in the United Arab Emirates returned to Cuba after three months of work in that nation.
Upon their arrival at the capital's José Martí International Airport on Monday, they were welcomed by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, who highlighted through a videoconference the excellence of their work in that Middle Eastern country.
This group comprises 39 women and six men who worked with their local colleagues in four medical centers.
Together with the rest of the contingent of 110 Cuban professionals, these graduates in Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation supported the implementation of the field hospitals and intensive care wards dedicated to the care of patients with Covid-19.
