Brasilia, Jan 3 (RHC) Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés met Monday with leaders of the Landless Movement, in the context of his visit to Brazil to represent the Caribbean nation at the presidential inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Through his Twitter account, the vice president informed about the dialogue with the leader of the movement, Joao Pedro Stedile, with whom he exchanged about the collaboration in food production and medicines, renewable energies, education, sports, and training of professionals.
Valdés arrived in Brasilia to attend Lula's inauguration and to hold meetings with business, political and social leaders to boost bilateral relations.
The vice president also met with members of the Cuba solidarity movement and members of the Cuban diplomatic and state mission in the South American giant. (Source: PL)
