Cuban President talks with Prime Minister of Barbados

Buenos Aires, Jan 23 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel held a meeting on Monday with the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, prior to the 7th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Through his Twitter account, the president described the dialogue as pleasant and stressed that during the talks they reviewed the results and agreements derived "from the successful visit to that sister nation and the VIII Caricom-Cuba Summit".

The Cuban leader arrived in Argentina the day before to participate in the VII CELAC Summit. During his first day, he fulfilled an intense agenda which included a meeting with representatives of political forces, trade unions and solidarity movements in the South American nation.
