Havana, Feb 25 (RHC) As part of the candidates for deputies’ meetings with the people, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero knew firsthand about the results, difficulties, and concerns about fishing activity in the municipality of Gibara, Holguin

As part of the solution to these and other issues, Marrero referred to a group of planned modifications to the Fishing Law, such as the construction and repair of boats, the increase of the capture zones, and the rescue of sales points specialized in fishing gear and urged the local authorities to draw up a strategy for the rescue of these traditions in this maritime city.
During his tour, accompanied by Sonia Chacón, also a candidate to the Parliament for this demarcation, he visited the radio station La Voz del Atlántico, which today celebrated its 22nd anniversary, to congratulate its workers and praise the work carried out for more than two decades.
Marrero toured the facilities of the Hilda Torres Bacallao Tobacco Factory and talked with the workers about the production for the year 2023.
