First International Congress of Comparative Law ends in Cuba

Havana, April 6 (RHC) The First International Congress of Comparative and Constitutional Law, ends this Thursday at the emblematic National Hotel in Havana.

According to the organizers of the event, the meeting was a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences of academics, researchers and other legal professionals from different latitudes.

Through presentations, communications and posters, various issues under debate in current constitutionalism were developed. It was also an ideal space to generate collaborative projects between the institutions and the participants.

The event, organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana, was sponsored by various academic and research centers in Italy, Mexico and Cuba.

The science of Comparative Law is intrinsically controversial and innovative, as it introduces into the study of Law an analytical and transdisciplinary dimension that cuts across all its branches.

Within the framework of constitutional law, the legal comparison becomes more complex due to the influence of history, context, identities, politics, systems, ideology, among many other variables. (Source: Prensa Latina)
