Cuba appreciates ties of US farmers
Havana, Apr 7 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez reported today that he thanked representatives of the United States agricultural sector for their contribution to overcoming obstacles in bilateral ties.
On his Twitter profile, the head of Cuban diplomacy pointed out that he ratified to the participants in the 4th Agricultural Conference between Cuba and the US the interest and will of his country to maintain and expand ties in this sphere.
During the event, which concluded the day before at the Grand Aston hotel in Havana, the American visitors called for the repeal of Washington's blockade against the island and the establishment of normal commercial relations, especially in the agricultural area. They also expressed their interest in materializing business projects and commercial relations between the economic actors of the Cuban agri-food sector and US businessmen. (Source: Prensa Latina)
